About Harrisburg Hitters
The Harrisburg Hitters Youth Football Association is a nonprofit youth football organization serving children and families in and around Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Our program supports the healthy development of youth through structured athletics, mentorship, character building, and positive community engagement.
Through coaching, mentorship, and community involvement, the organization works to:
- Support academics by reinforcing the importance of school performance, attendance, and personal responsibility.
- Reduce youth trouble by keeping participants engaged in supervised, constructive activities and positive peer environments.
- Provide mentorship through trained coaches and volunteers who model discipline, respect, and leadership.
- Promote health and wellness through fitness, football fundamentals, and age-appropriate athletic training.
- Strengthen community by involving families, encouraging volunteerism, and creating opportunities for service and outreach.
Provide youth in and around Harrisburg with coaching, mentorship, and competitive opportunities that build character, discipline, teamwork, and academic-minded habits—on and off the field.
